About VFXFiles

Jeremy Hattingh heads up VFXFiles, a visual effects shop based in Cape Town, South Africa.

Recently, working out of VXFiles, Jeremy won an Emmy Award for Visual Effects On – Set Lead on Black Sails an historical adventure television series.

Previously, working out of Double Negative in London, Jeremy has worked on numerous critically acclaimed VFX projects, including James Bond, Harry Potter, Alien vs Predator, Batman and Children of Men.

What We Do

VFXFiles does Visual Effects for Film and Television, focussing on High-Quality, High-Resolution Imagery.

We do Development, Supervision, Assist, Tech Support, and Image Testing and Finalling.

We are based in Westlake in Cape Town.

Our Philosophy

Based in Cape Town, VFXFiles is a boutique sized shop focussing on High Quality work.
